Records in our jukebox

The human mind stirs-up emotions from the past that do not belong in the present. They just complicate everything.

Self-enquiry is the key; to recognise that arising emotions do not belong in the current situation. They are merely a recording of a past event, like songs in a jukebox, trying to cloud today with something from the past.

Be brave, stand apart from strong emotions, and realise that they are they, and you are you.
