The watcher, who we really are

The mind constructs a personality that is very limiting, restrictive, fearful and self-critical. So, how can we break through those limits and negative opinions? The answer is to know whom you really are; make the distinction between true self and the mind image. Why? Because once emotionally charged limits arise, the ability to stand in true self gives us a position upon which to fight our case. To literally stand in true self, and observe the false limiter from that position, causes the false to fall away.
