The emotional record player

We can become limited to a very narrow narrative, created by the mind.

It restricts who we think we are and what we can do to a very small definition. Meanwhile, who we really are is immeasurably bigger.

Situations arise in life that set emotional records playing upon the heart. However, as strong as they may feel, they are only recordings of the past; a past that no longer exists.

The body of emotional recordings are similar to a jukebox, in that, they can only play what’s inside them and nothing else.
